Salaries for these jobs average $26,000 per year, and there are numerous chances to advance into supervisory positions within a company. Many loss prevention agents are able to work their way up to regional or even national management positions within a corporation. However, the hours can be long and irregular in this job, with weekend, holiday, and even overnight work possible.
